Slow day at Team Grumman. Any good stories to share till the next
thread raises it's head?

I'll add one.....
Is it standard practice to add red RTV to seal the upper and lower edges of
the oil cooler at the baffle?
It seems there could be a sizeable air leak at these points.... where the
vanes meet the baffle..
I cut away the lower baffles to make the gap equal on both sides of the
bayonet temp sensor, and that seemed to lower my CHTs somewhat (GEM 602
unit, so I only have bars, not exact numbers...), but #4 seems to be the
hottest now.
I might also do the fin flashing filing when the cowl is off next.
I also just split my lower cowling with a joining (repair?) plate... boy
does that make it much easier to remove the cowling with the Powerflow....
