Greetings,
Seeing Thom's i-phone video inspired me to try my Motorola camera phone to take a short video last Sunday. It was not a very good video but to my surprised the video phone did not record the engine noise. I had the phone plugged to my headset so I'm thinking it will record my radio transmissions. I will have to try this out the next time I go flying.

While I was busy playing with the camera phone I let FireStar's nose drop so the RPMs started to go up. While I wasn't paying attention to my engine instruments the EIS was. That big red light got my attention when the RPMs went over the limit. I didn't panic when the red light turned on because I heard the RPM go up, I knew right away what it was and pulled the nose back up.

Has anyone heard if the Rotax 503 now has a TBO 600 hours?
