I had a new gutter installed on the back of my house. I watched the guy seal it with non-hardening RTV. It looked like it would work the way he did it. It leaked, of course. So, I got a ladder, climbed up there, stripped off as much RTV as I could, cleaned it up, riveted the joint together, and resealed with fuel tank sealant. Now we wait for rain.

I think your gutter will work fine as long as it only rains 100LL!

It's been raining like crazy for 2 days. No leaks. I think I have another gutter, though, that is plugged. Water is running over the edge.
