I have recently upgraded my tire and wheel setup! I installed the =
upgraded grove axle to fit the Matco W62 split wheel. My problem is =
this, TIRES!!!! I purchased the tires from Matco, carlisle turf glide =
8.00x6/7. I was told by Matco they would work on the W62 wheel. Well =
they do fit, but they are not true! So I took them off and tried a set =
of air trac tires with 15x600-6 tubes from the local lawn and garden =
shop. I have destroyed two inner tubes by pinching them between the =
wheels. HELP!! is anyone using the Matco W62 wheel on there Kitfoxes =
and if so, what tire and tube.

The way to prevent pinching of the tube is to make a collar of paper
wrapped around the inside of the wheel to cover the split. Keeps the
tube from getting pinched.

By the way the Carlisle Turf Glides really do work well on an Avid or
Kitfox. I've been using them on Tootie Mae since she first flew.

Jerry,

another way to keep from pinching the tube is to inflate the =
tube slightly to keep it spanding the
split.=20
