Dear Thread Friends, I made a mistake of not including the right side with
toe brakes when I built. Now I want to add the second side. Who out there has
accomplished this trick of standing on you head modification and addition ? Did
you purchase a second set of stuff from ZAC or did you just make the parts ?
I also plan on including a parking break valve. A second mistake and error on
my part that I should have done when building. Anybody have one of those and
where did you put it ? Best regards, Bill of Georgia

Hi Bill:

Scott Laughlin here. The guys at Matco
(www.matcomfg.com - (801) 486-7574) are helpful and
will walk you through the process. They have all the
parts needed for this modification except the actual
pedal modification. They also have some good diagrams
on this page:

Good luck,

SL

Scott, thanks. Did you install dual brakes? and the parking brake valve? I
flew to a strip in Tennessee the other day and the whole place was the side of
a ridge, strip as well. Just try to park and exit a rolling XL while your
trying to get around it to chock the tires and you'll know why the parking brake
modification is a plus. Bill

I did the dual brake setup when I first built. My parking brake valve is a
couple of 1/4" shutoff valves from Home Depot. Here's a pic:

Rick--
Great idea!! Wish I had heard from you when I was building my brakes with
the $100
Matco parking brake.
