Hey Guys,

I'm back, Been gone for some time now, partly because my emails weren't
getting posted onto the list.

Miraculous Matt seems to have that part fixed now.
Michael, re your prop removal question.

Pain the prop bright red, remove the bolts, fire up the engine and go to
full power until the prop is gone. (Be quick on the throttle when it leaves
as you don't want to over rev the engine)

Then go for a walk around the airport looking for a long red thing sticking
out of something/anything.

;{)
Actually, I am assuming you have a fixed pitch prop, have someone hang on to
it while you tap on it at the blade roots with a rag over a block of wood
and a mallet. Once it moves slightly, some rocking of it blade to blade will
walk it off.

Light to medium blows are OK as long as you are right at the root, but
anything that will mar the paint is too much, as it will also mar the metal
and leave a stress riser in a very bad place. If someone holds rocking
tension on it while you blow it will start the process. The goal of the
blows is not to take it off, but rather the free the static set from a long
period of attachment.

Once it has enough gap to rock slightly inserting some piled up rag into the
gap will help to walk it off quicker.

But it is a two person job lest you drop the prop...

If it's a constant speed do not hit any part of the propeller with anything
for any reason.
