Valve stem nuts....

Note that the nuts are left-hand metric thread. Pull a five pound vacuum on the tube and put 'em on from the back side.

If that fails just don't use the nuts; they were supplied to prevent the tube from departing as a result of landings in excess of 200 kts.

Mine don't have any nuts either.
