Gday All,
I had an excellent flying/road trip around the western USA again last summer. This time with a FireStar in a lightweight trailer.
Flew from 50 airfields in 9 states, from Montana to Texas.
Airfield altitudes from -180 in Death Valley to 9,070 at Telluride CO.

I regret not being able to stop and visit other Kolb flyers along the way, but I was really on the move to cover the ground that I wanted to see.... Typically, an early morning flight, then pack up and move during the day, then hunt out the next airfield and get ready for another flight next morning. Move, move, move, just managed to get through most of my bucket list before winter set in.
Now the rig is in storage at Brian Ranch airfield near Palmdale CA. It was so much fun that I intend to do some more touring over there next year, before selling it.
