Attached is a photo that Robin Marks took as we completed final prep to fly the plane home from paint. Many thanks to Robin for taking the time to fly with me both before and during the trip.
It was fun to see Robin use his G900x experience to fly with my OP Technologies (Aerosonic) displays. He did cheat some in that when he found himself outside the HITS boxes he would just hit the direct to button again and refresh the route!!
Mine is not as fast as Robins on the ground or in climb, but I think I can keep up with him once we get to altitude.
Now I just need to make fly the plane!! 29.4 hours and counting....

Hey Jearl (Luther),
Very Nice! How about a picture with the doors closed, full angle with
wingtips, etc. What kind of paint, painted in pieces or totally assembled,
is that the permanent tail number (size seems small) ???

FYI, I cheat on the G900X too!
The plane looks amazing and another testament to Vans design and Jearl’s hard work.
This is a camera phone photo. We will get some quality air to air photos sometime soon.
Keep building, it’s worth it!
