Hello All,  

   

Dad and I are restoring a Stearman and would like to put a modern alternator and electrical system on it without going to the expense of a Jasco alternator.  Our Stearman has the Lycoming R-680.  Does anyone have any experience or suggestions doing this with a B&C SD-20 alternator?  Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
