Thinking or replacing my stock Van's landing lights with LEDs.
Anyone have experience with AeroLEDs?
Model, brightness, ease of installation?

Several folks around here have installed them. They work seem to work well. I'm planning on installing them in my RV-10, but haven't yet.
So far, the best pricing I've found is through Van's. Van's price even beat AeroLEDS OSH show special.

I have the AeroSun 1600 in the wingtips on my Glastar, I mainly use it
as recognition lights and they are hard to beat with their wig wag.
For landing Taxilight they light up a lot but can not concur with the
50W HID in the cowling. However they ahave a few new rund LED lights
on their site with up to 17000lumen, that is a lot of light!
Mounting and in service no problem at all, beautiful US made quality I
can recommend.
