Merry Christmas Everyone! I have been a "lurker" for several years now on the list and have enjoyed the pictures and stories that everyone has contributed.
A little over 3 years ago I bought a beautiful partially completed MkIIIc from a gentleman from Florida (it had been sealed up in an enclosed trailer since he moved south). Attached are some pictures. Besides a little dust from sitting in my garage since then it is in wonderful shape.
After much thought, and sadness, I realize that I just don't have the resources, mainly time, to complete the kit and give it justice. I have a 4 year old, and a new job that demand just about all my time. It needs a new home and I hope that someone on the list knows of someone in need of a MkIIIc.
Here is what you get: The cage has been painted, the wings assembled, the control surfaces have been assembled, all of it almost ready for covering. I have a ton of parts, hardware, polyfiber information and chemicals, all the original blueprints and instruction manuals, as well as a Kunzelman LED strobe position light assembly still in the box (I paid $400 for it). Most importantly I have the original bill of sale from the factory to the first owner in 1992, and then another bill of sale to me back in 2007.
The assembly, all done by the previous owner is absolutely top notch. I think he ran some sort of machine shop business and the craftsmanship shows.
I am asking $8,000 for it which is less than I have in it. I think that is fair for what you would be getting. I live in Nashville, TN and would more than willing to help you load it up. You can reach me on my cell at 615-268-1409 or arran.addington(at)gmail.com I am more than happy to answer questions and take pictures, come on by if you like. I figured that I would offer it to the group first, and then if I don't hear anything I will put it up on Barnstormers next week. I appreciate your help, and hope someone knows where it can find a new home.

You didn't mention an engine that I noted . . . . You did say $8,000 didn't you? . . . .There is an engine with it for $8000 yes?
Do you have pics to show what I would get for $8000?
