Good afternoon Tom,

There should be a record of the weighing (or weight change) in the log books.

I've attached a copy of the Excel sheet I've developed.
It's a little easier to use than the printed sheet you have.

If there's a question as to my derivation of these numbers, contact me off list.

Hope this helps!
Cliff

Using the W&B that came with my plane and the one Cliff attached to this email string my plane is not within limits for solo acro, it is nose heavy. Numerous people have told me this would not create a problem as it just means the plane would be less likely to spin or at least easier to recover from a spin. If this is true why would that area of the chart not include acro? My own experience has not shown any problems entering or recovering from normal, upright spins which is all I have attempted. Am I asking for trouble?

If you are forward of the C of G limit in a 52,I assume that there have been changes to the plane -probably removal of the equipment behind the rear seat.
The plane will be more reluctant to spin, and indeed recover more easily,BUT,by definition will not be such a nice plane with which to fly aerobatics,in that it will be more stable and will not want to pitch etc.
