An easier way to bend bows and not get into special forms is to trace or

mark off the curve you need.  Fill the tube with sand and pack it 

well before plugging ends and then do a setup with c-clamps such as I've

shown in this link. An ink marker on the inside curve will give you an 

idea of how it's going.  The bending is done in very small increments, but

it is possible to get very precise results.
