I need to use one VOR antenna to server two VOR receivers. I'm guessing
the CATV job they sell at Home Depot won't work? Do any of you folks
make these or have an idea where to buy one of these without a mortgage?

Thanks,

Glenn Long

Well, there's this from minicircuits.com
http://minicircuits.com/cgi-bin/modelsearch?search_type=info&model=ZFSC-2-1W-75B%2B
for ~$50 that will do VOR & GS. Or others on eBay for ~$90...

Thanks,

Is 75 ohms correct for the Nav Splitter? I found a used job from an old Cessna at DTW parts for $40.00. Do these things wear out?

No, it's not. Try a 50 ohm ZFSC -2-1+
for ~$45Do you need GS? Upper NAV freq ~120MHz, but if you need GS you need a splitter good to ~350MHz. Make sure the one you get has enough bandwidth.

They shouldn't if not abused, but I have seen bad ones that look fine.
Connectors tight, no corrosion, etc...
