Sad news all. Gordon Witter died about 21:00 Pacific time tonight (Jan. 14, 2011). An exceptional man and a good friend.
Of course, no details of svcs yet. I will advise.

As members of the RPA, we all have benefited from his volunteerism to the betterment of this community. His passing will leave a huge void. We will miss him.
Please convey the RPA's and my condolences to his family. May God bless them and support them in their time of sorrow.

I know I haven't had the pleasure of spending as much time with Gordon
as the rest of you guys, but over the past half-dozen years, he's been
an individual I could sincerely call a friend. There are many of you I
look forward to seeing at ARS or on the road throughout the year, but
there was something about Gordon that always made me smile.
You'll be greatly missed. Blue skies and tail winds.
