Has anyone used the rubber flange type carburetor sockets for the Rotax 912 engines using the Bing model 64 carburetors made by JBM Industries in Kent, Ohio? These sockets are made in the USA and are considerably less money than the Rotax sockets (big surprise).

I have not used their 912 sockets, but have used al their 2-stroke sockets. Those are MUCH better than the Rotax ones, and last a long long time.

I use JBM "rubber" parts on all my Rotax and HKS engines (same as 912 sockets). Their formulation seems to resist hardening and cracking better than Rotax parts. Nice folks to deal with, too.

I use JBM sockets. They are very good quality and much more sturdy than the Rotax sockets. I have had several failures of Rotax $102.00 sockets, ( 4 to be exact ) and none with the JBM sockets.

The JBM Sockets are TOP QUALITY parts. I've been using them for a number of years and to date I've had no failures. Cant say that about the Rotax Factory parts.
