with all this talk about overhauls, let me share this one.
Check out the pics.
Total time since major overhaul: 56 hours. Overhaul done at an FBO in LA.
The last annual was done at the time of the overhaul.
Plane came in with oil all over the top of the cowling and windshield. The crank seal is not doing its job.
There is so much corrosion on this plane, it's hardly worth keeping.
The baffles are not worth a crap.
The hoses, wiring, and everything else is really awful.
Good thing the guy has money to fix it. Too bad he didn't spend the money on the purchase price and get something worth the money.
