Kingsley,
I see you are anxious regarding impending retirement and I write to console you. I realise that this is not ‘company business’ and will not repeat.
I have been retired for 22 years. My wife has not.
The first item is the weekly calendar which consists of:
Saturday, Church, Garbage, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday and Saturday. The last day of the week is: Yesterday. Everything must be done today – see Yesterday. Routines assume immense proportions since there would be no room for Previous Work.. Hourly wage values approach zero since such that you will spend 4 hours saving a dollar/euro/pound – a bargain.
Everything based on Forever takes on new meaning. A 20-year investment has no meaning. – in fact, an annual subscription calls for Board Approval. To save a marriage, attempt to find a third person for the Board.

I think I will work until I drop now...I am working 7 days a week now and never get the "when are you going to do" (I won't say bitched at because my wife is not one), so maybe I have found a good thing.

Bud, if you enjoy what you're doing (and it seems to me you do) why stop? Slowing down a bit won't do any harm though ?

Here I am 56 and retired ages ago, relaxed ! ummmm sometimes xxx Happy that the days starts with a dog walk followed by ? Well its not inportiant, but not enough hours in a day! Back flying after a 4year and 2 month time out was great to dust along the tops of the clouds again bliss x now all I need to do is get my Europa rebuilt and Long ez sold !
