HEY! I like that idea Gary... A ZIPPER ... Did it also have a split ring for the mounting?What material was used for the boot and was it stiffened for where it mounts to the plane around the ring?

It is made of some sort of canvas like material. Yes, someone cut the ring. I have. Better solution.
