I'm a little surprised Van's would call someone out like this publically, given it would be obvious to many whose RV-10 this is from, but it certainly seems to be something they feel strongly about.

Agreed, however it is understandable, given that rubber hose and
clamps are appropriate to low pressure carbureted systems, but not
fuel injected high pressure systems. I assume the picture was taken
pre-fire condition.

My guess is the tone and lack of specific as to what NOT TO DO is the writer's license of Ken Scott and not Richard Van Grunsven. I will await clarification and would be happy to comment later on why several adulterations could lead to problems of safety in flight.
by definition I guess Ken Scott is Van's Aircraft.
