Dana- A couple of thoughts. How hard is it to take a Quicksilver apart for winter storage? Do you really want to rent a hanger? Your new field is just a field. As far as reliability, you only had the one problem that I remember. You didn't mention the price on the Quick, but there are some very attractive prices on two seat Kolbs on Barnstormers lately. As far as landing off airport in Ct., you are more likely to need climbing gear than long legs.

A couple more thoughts. If the two seat Quicksilver is N-numbered, what is Connecticut's property tax? Is Conn. going up on the aircraft tax/registration? And, how much more is the insurance on a two seater? And finally, why is your friend letting it go so cheap?
