Dwayne, if I remember correctly the removable wing extensions were a Model 5 option. The model 4 and 5 wing are the same so it would probably work.
The removable wing extension didn't seem to catch on. There are probably not many people around that have them or the instructions. There is a permanent wing extension kit available for the Avid Flyer which has a very similar wing.
I think it wouldn't be too complicated. A tube or I beam incert and a few feet of the round spar material.

Dwayne,
I saw your post as well, and likely everyone else did too. I agree with
Tom. I suspect that plans are not available, at least not from those that
monitor this list. Ask if anyone has ideas on how it can be done and you
will likely get tons of opinions, if that would suffice. I will give you
mine. I'd find some telescoping tubing and make something like a fishing
pole ferrule for the spars and use the same structure to attach the
extension that you likely have on the wing tip, but maybe a bit more beefy
depending on what you have. I am helping a friend with his Kitfox and the
original builder found some thin aluminum angle and was able to form it to
the contour of the rib capstrip and riveted it to both the capstrip and the
rib web - top and bottom. Then he put an aluminum doubler over the wingtip
fiberglass at the edge. For one rib bay, I suspect that would be a tough
attachment.

Doesnt Airdale Inc sell a kit for this? None Of their products are inexpensive but I also wouldn't consider them expensive considering the engineering that has already been done for you.
