Sir Barry, All,
Was in Coer d' Alane, Idaho (KCOE) two weekends ago and took some pix. Used my GPS camera to again, I apologize for the quality.
This looks to be a Gary Gadberry AC500A with most of his Shrike mods. From a distance I was thrown off balance by a Shrike looking Commander with two blade props! Sadly, this bird has not flown in quite a while. I make that deduction based on the condition of the tires and bungees.
The winglettes look suspicious to me. They appear to be bootleg winglettes and not the AeroDyne product, but I may just be twitchy about that having seen bootlegs appear on Commanders before.

Hello Keith,
Grateful thanks for taking the time and trouble to take the shots of N234WM at Couer d’Alene, they are very much appreciated.
The current owners bought it in May 2006, but seemingly not made much use of it!
It was briefly owned by Gary Gadberry’s Aircenter Inc in 1996 and the ‘Shrike-Alike’ mods were signed-off as being installed in June 1997.
The winglets were shown as installed under STC SA1158GL, so I guess are genuine.
See you left the door open on your Nissan Altima while you took the shots, so hope not too much of the ‘airconned’ air escaped
Very Best Regards,
Barry

Not to worry. The air outside the car was cooler than the air inside. I was so glad to be out of the desert and in the fresh, cool, mountain air that I wanted to stuff as much of it as I could into my car -- and for the record, that is a rental. MY car is a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.Glad that the winglettes are the genuine article.Wing Commander Gordon
