Guys and girls
I have just re assembled my XLB Dual sticks and when the dual stick mechanism at the bottom is done up to correct TQ's , there is still a small amount of play between the two sticks.

IE hold one stick still and the other can still move just a small amount 2-3 mm with a slight clunk. I don't remember it did that in the past.

Can someone with Dual sticks check theirs for play or give me a ref on how much play I am allowed as I can't find any ref to stick slop /play.

Thanks..
Chris.

Chris,
I have noticeable play in my sticks as well.
I have talked to Zenith & Zenair personnel and they have told me not to worry.
A couple of friends who have built award winning (Oshkosh) aircraft suggest re-shimming - which I plan to do as my XL goes back together.

Chris,
Checked mine. Also have about 1-2 mm play at top of Ray Allen stick grips in pitch and roll with one stick held. Nothing I am about to fret about.

Chris,
I believe you will not notice any "play" in the stick.
