Question can you use a Russian cylinder and piston on a Chinese's lower
unit?

Tom,

No, balance is will be wrong. Also, there is no real advantage, valves &
bore are same size, only exhaust nuts are larger. One advantage is sodium
cooled exhaust valve which can be overcome by using modern high temp alloy
valves.

I think Tom's talking about the air compressor components. Not an
engine cylinder.
