Hi All,

I've found someone on Ebay selling original ex PLAAF flight helmets(TK2A).
Does anyone know if the avionics in them can be made to work with a civilian style radio/intercom?

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

I have two that we sent to Oregon Aero to have US Civilian electronics installed. They work beautifully.________________________________________

Hi

My experience is the same as Kurt but I converted them myself.

All you need to do is purchase the Oregon Aero boom round mount electret mic, GA dual plug harness and a pair of gel ear seals.

The stock PLA helmet speakers (they come still fitted inside the helmets) work just fine.
