I have never seen a limitation published on EGT for aircraft engines. There are turbine inlet temp. limits but not EGT.
IN our test cell we have seen up to 1525 F but that was at Cruise 1 power and maximum lean. Typical full power EGT when the carb is correctly jetted will give around 1450 F.
EGT is a variable and depends on a lot of physical characteristics besides fuel-air ratio. Iti should be used as a trend monitoring temperature.
