I did about the same: elevator trim, PTT, plus electric flaps via 4-way "China hat" switch (CH601 flap actuator motor under pilot seat).

Pic attached showing other mods to the cabin area.

I screwed up in an earlier post. I brought mine out through a grommet hole on the back of the stick, not out the bottom. Sorry

Francisco,

I, like most probably many others, have been following this post to see how each builder solved the stick/wiring issues. I also compliment you for posting a photo, but please tell me why you include a photo so small, that none of the details are visible.

Robert

Robert,

Did you see my two latest pics on our subject today?

I could do a few more for you, plus a full-size pattern of the boot at the bottom of my stick, plus sourcing info, if you could help with expenses. Please confirm interest.

Ps: I am a Mexican national of Mexican-American descent living and working permanently in Ecuador. I was trained as an architect in Mexico, in Paris and at UT Austin. I did good work in Mexico as an architect I think, but I just love aviation too much! Here you can see skinny Francisco (Ursúa Cocke) lecturing on aviation to cadets at a flight school in the Amazonian basin where I am based, on a military base there (Fig. 4), and my “Terminator”’s first flight (Fig. 5).

Francisco,

No need for any additional photos, these were just fine.

Great looking " terminator " airplane. By the way, did you happen to give any rides to Arnold Schwarzenegger ?

Craig,

I came out the front at the pivot point. Stick barely moves in any direction while in flight.

Scroll down to the 10th picture.

Thanks to all who responded, especially Brian. Since I'm dropping my panel in now and running all the wires, coax and lines to the rear I need to review your site and steal your best ideas. Hope you are flying the heck out of your 701s.
