I'm new guy to Rocket and couple problems showing up on my first annual:

1. Warped flange on the aft left section of the cylinder #6 exhaust pipe -- causing exhaust leak.

It’s the original pipe, believe John Harmon’s early design (have asked him about it) – bad section is on right side of attached photo.

Anybody know if / how I can get replacement part, or maybe a great welder who could remove / replace the flange? Other ideas?

2. Original fiberglass 15” dia. Spinner’s prop hub front plate is damaged; it’s 10 5/8” dia., attached inside spinner with four screws and to Hartzell prop hub with four bolts. Attaching photo. Ideas for who to contact for a replacement?

Thanks,

Tim Carey

Tim, I removed my original exhaust and installed a Larry Vetterman system, much improved and worth every penny. He may also be able to help with repair,,although once removed my old system had cracks I couldn't see until off airplane. Replacing improved performance as well.
Spinner bulkhead, try aircraft spruce. FYI. A Cessna 310 spinner will R&R perfectly.
