Exactly. I just had that 3weeks ago. New g meter, no more noise. Or you over "G'd" the airplane so hard that it broke. Of course we would be talking about you instead of to you. I'm glad it's a bad unit. If the meter works, the cannon plug will fix it.

Experienced a strange problem today in my Yak-52. The red G factor panel light is coming on intermittent and at same time I am receiving a buzzing noise in the headset that makes it impossible to hear the radio. Is this a loose wire or connection. If so, where is the sender for this system. thanks
