Well...I've been a resident of the Neosho, MO, Airport for 24 hours and probably have another 48 hours to go.  Winds have been whipping out of the south since yesterday morning when I left El Dorado, KS.  Presently we have winds of 32 gusting to 43 out of the south.  Will remain that way through tomorrow night.  Wednesday looks doable when the wind shifts out of the west 17 to 20 with gusts to 28.  I can tolerate wind much better when I get a little help from it.



Lost my internet connection because of the high winds this morning.  Told Billy Sallee, airport manager, I was going to get a motel room for a couple days so I could use their computer.  He told me I better reconsider because all the rooms are full because of the tornado in Joplin, 22 May, when I was here weathered in.



Internet connection is intermittent, so at least I have access to it at times.



Got the mkIII in a hanger out of the wind this morning.



High wind bent the trailing edge of my rudder while tied down at Evanston, WY.  I forgot to tie the rudder pedals together while I was weathered in there on the way west.  Don't know whether to try to straighten it when I get home or leave it alone.  Hasn't affected the flying any.

  thanks for the update..good to hear you ok and have the plane in a  hangar...weather at times rules are flying..  good weather and tail winds  the rest of the way home...jswan
