My Garmin 696 doesn't output enough power to hear the XM radio it in my headsets very well. Is anyone using any type of audio amplifier to boost their mp3 player or similar? Any recommendations on what to get, or avoid?

Thanks

I use this one, works great, several versions depending on what you need.

What type of audio panel / intercom are you using?

<<What type of audio panel / intercom are you using?>>

Apollo SL-15. Talked with them, they said some devices need a boost.

My 696 is turned up all the way, and still cuts out sometimes. Had the same problem with a couple other devices, but I was able to turn them up and they work fine. I assume they have better output as they are not at max output and still work great.
