A couple of folks asked about the unique ridge running down the side of our RV-10, and yes, that is a fairing over one of the riser cables for the ballistic parachute. Stop by at Oshkosh and check it out if you'd like. For us, it added about $10,000, 100 pounds, and a year to the project!
But it was a fun engineering challenge!
