I am thinking about installing a BRS parachute in my 601 HDS and wonder if anyone out there has done this. Any ideas out there about the suitability of this system and approximate cost? My wife gets freaked out about me flying and having one onboard would ease her mind (and mine as well).

I have heard/read of several Zodiacs that had parachutes installed, but I am not sure any of them was an HDS.
I suggest a search in the Matronics archives, you might find something there.
Also, calls to ZAC and BRS might be helpful.
