Hi Team,
I just bought a Kitfox IV Speedster and need 15 hours of dual with a CFI who has at least 25 hours of Kitfox time. Any contact names would be greatly appreciated. I ma located in Jacksonville. If I find an instructor I am comfortable with I would consider paying expenses to come to JAX for 3 days so we can get this done. I ma open to suggestions.

Thanks Guy and BJ for the response.
I am not unhappy with the requirement for dual since I have only about 10 hours tailwheel time (1500 total, commercial SEL and Glider). I just need to find an instructor that the insurance company will accept.I was quite satisfied with the quote of <$800.
Still looking.

I bought mine from a person who was a professional pilot and CFI with 500 hours in it. If he is in between engagements, I believe he would go to your area and do it, as he did for me. Email me off list and I will give you the last contact information I had for him. Also, research the archives, some names were mentioned there in the past. My Speedster had bungee gear at the time, was extremely squirrly on the ground and had brake pedals only on the LH side. Also, although most of my time was in taildraggers, I was not used to landing using peripheral vision. I would not recommend cutting corners on this.
