Hey guys,
I'd love to have a float plane with a reliable 4 stroke that could fit,
with wings folded, inside an enclosed trailer, which could serve as
hanger, shop and transporter for the float plane.
Any thoughts, recommendations or referrals?
I have two "Kitfox" trailers. One has a seven foot high rear door opening
the other is over-wide at 9 feet.
A Sky Raider that I looked at had Full Lotus floats that might squeeze
between the inner fenders of the taller trailer. The tail feathers might
just barely clear the vertical door opening if the plane were loaded nose
up a bit, but it has a Jabiru 2200 that runs too hot for lower 48 problem
free warm weather seaplane operations, and Sky Raider says no other
suitable 4 stroke is available quite yet from them.
