When I first got my CJ I was uncomfortable with the single point vent system, so I modified the fuel caps by installing
check valve vents from salvaged old type Cessna fuel caps.
Did several for other CJ's.
Also installed Cessna 337 wing tip vents with seperate plumbing from each tank.
There was some improvement with the uneven flow problem, but still required paying attention to keeping wings level,
specially in a long climb with high power settings ( torque effect ) .
Most effective mod was electric aileron trim.

We are now flying an 18T which has the two standpipe vents and still experiencing the uneven flow problem
if not paying careful attention to the wing level situation. So planning to install a wing leveling system.
