A friend had an Interavia I-3 shipped to WI and the container was dropped and rolled. There is sheet metal damage and he was wondering if there is anyone somewhat local who would be interested in repairing it and or if anyone would be interested in buying it as is.
Thanks,
Bill Cowden

I think Courtesy does or has a division that does that kind of work. Also I
think Basler does some work too although their website talks about turbine
conversion DC-3's. When I was down there they were restoring a F4F and I
think they had done a P47 as well.

Also there is a guy in Princeton, MN who does some warbird work - Duane
Kruse. http://www.kruseaviation.com/ I know him and he's worked on YAK's and
CJ's before plus he used to work for a pretty big warbird operation before
they went bust. Probably closer to you than Rockford or Oshkosh. And he's
pretty reasonable with rates too.
