Hey Pete,

On returning from Oshkosh (good to see you guys) I noticed that my battery was not charging at the usuasal 14.1 volts, anyways I did my best to lighten my electrical load and when we landed we did a once over on the engine compartment and did not find anything out of order. I was able to replace the battery (Walmart) and fly home, I was sort of thinking that my battery from 2007 had bit the dust, however, my new battery discharged as well and did not show 14.1 v in terms a stewady charging state.

Any ideas or insight? I searched the manual on line but didn't find anything difinitive, could my regulator be shot or acting up?

Thanks,

Jeff and Peter Paris 2 Jabs in the nest Zodiac and Europa

Jeff:

If it was not charging at 14.1 VDC what was the voltage indication?
Do you have an AMMETER?  Does it show + & - when in operation?
Are you running a separate VR?
