Hello all to fox flyers, Since we are still new to the kitfox and the learning curve very flat lots of minor issues pop up. I am asking for opinions on the props some of you are using, we have the model 4/1200 912 with a 68" GSC/ prop I would assume that others are using a different prop, what are you opinions your prop? The GSC is very difficult to adjust properly. Thanks every one, Bob &Toodie

I flew the GSC for about a year, but finally got scared off by the 5 yr/500hr life limit by the manufacturer as mine had been installed about 10yrs even though it had less the 200 hrs. For the money I think the IVO prop is hard to beat. My KF IV Speedster is powered by the 912UL so I was able to go with the 68" ultralight version for about $600. Very easy to adjust the pitch to whatever performance you are looking for and I was able to get both a better climb and cruise than the GSC. I liked the looks of the GSC better and performance was ok, but saw too many posts of blades coming apart, so mine is now mounted on my ceiling. Good luck, Paul P.

My KF 3 had a 582 3:1 and I switched to a 70" medium IVO. Couldn't have been more pleased. Saw increased performance in every aspect across the board. I am switching to an HKS with 3.47:1 and plan on running the IVO in 3 blade config. I will be posting plenty about performance once it is up, hopefully this year.
