Hiking in the wilds of PA today, got a cell phone from Rich “Smiley” Langer's wife. Smiley (fellow CJ-6 formation buddy in
FL) went under the knife for a by-pass this morning. He’ll be in the hospital a few more days, but the operation went well. He was having a fun time at OSH until he got a call from his doc to come home. He'll be back in the saddle in 6 months.
Jim "Pappy" Goolsby
PS I think I'll start a "Broken Hearts Flight" in RPA.

Hope he does well. About the six months being back in the saddle, Best of luck with that.
I don't think the FAA can do anything in six months. However we will all hope for the best.
We have a yak group in the SC region although since sadly our membership is growing we accept members from any region. As Mark mentioned it is the " Cardi -Yaks" We hope for limited membership. Working on our logo.
