I know this has been put out in the last couple of months but I wanted to everyone once again.
The Homecoming and Open House is Saturday 1 October, 2011. We usually have a cookout Friday night for those that fly/drive in early and everyone is invited to that as well. We welcome owners, builders, wanna-be’s, and just about everyone else! If you’ve been thinking about owning or building a Lightning this is the perfect opportunity to talk to owners about their planes. If you’re an owner please fly in and reconnect with fellow Lightning owners.
Some events that we have in mind
The Friday night cookout
The 4th annual ACRAA sanctioned creeper races
Saturday morning fly out for breakfast to Winchester, TN
The Lightning Dash (for bragging rights for the fastest Lightning)
Demo rides throughout the day
And much more!
Shelbyville has several hotels including the Country Hearth Inn, Best Western, America’s Best Value Inn and Murfreesboro has several hotels just a 25 minute drive north of the airport.
Please make plans to attend. We had a fantastic time last year and we expect attendance to be even bigger this year.
