Speaking of Flashing Beacons
The beacon has gone out on my Tiger. My mechanic said it was the module, and I should replace the whole thing with a self-contained module as it is more reliable and only slightly more than a new module. Is the Whelen 70509 Flasher the right unit to use on my plane.

I second that. And if you want to make it simple and save money you can
use the existing beacon switch and wiring to operated the tail strobe
separately.

Whelen strobe: A490TCCF SERIES PN 11-14714 (Aircraft Spruce)
Whelen tail light/strobe: A500AV14 or H14. I forget if it's vertical or horizontal. Look at your tail light and see which way the sides are cut.
