Two 1/3 shares in a great SF Bay Area Tiger (based at SQL, San Carlos, CA) are available now... both of my airplane partners are selling (for different reasons unrelated to the plane or our partnership) and I'm eager to find new partners, or we may be forced to sell the plane outright, and then I'll have no plane. Sad

It's a great plane and a well-structured partnership that has worked well over the past decade with several different partners.

N28797 - 1978 Tiger, approximately 2900 TTAF, 1600 TMOH. Engine running great with good compressions, good static RPM, climbs great and cruises at 138 knots.

- Sensenich Prop
- Split nose bowl
- IFR certified
- Custom instrument panel
- Narco CP136 Audio Panel
- Narco 12D+ Nav/Com
- Narco 810 Com
- Narco AT-150 Transponder with brand new ACK encoder
- Narco DG-10 HSI (electric)
- PS Engineering PS2000 4-place Stereo Intercom
- Insight GEM (4-probe EGT/4-probe CHT)
- Electronics International FP-5 (fuel flow), Volt/Amp, Tach, Oil Press/Temp, OAT/Carb Temp

Exterior 7/10 (White with red, blue and gray trim); wings repainted in 2009.
Interior 9/10 (seats recovered 2011; gray leather/wool seats and carpets)

- Whelan landing lights in wingtips with Pulse-Light option
- Wingtip strobes
- Red rudder cap
- Schroth seatbelts with front inertia reel
- New Skytec starter, 2010
- Ground Tech canopy cover
- New tires, 2010
- Horizontal stabilizer attach brackets reengineered and strengthened, 2009 (much stronger than original)

All maintenance since ~2006 by Gary Vogt/AuCountry Aviation
Annual due 3/12

Plane is owned by an established Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), so there's NO sales tax, liability protection, over $10,000 in reserves for engine overhaul.

I'm not the one selling so I'm not 100% sure the price, but I think they each want about $15,000 for their 1/3 share of the corporation, but any serious offers will be considered. Your ongoing costs are about $275/month for fixed costs (includes our T-shade hangar, insurance, taxes, annual inspection and maintenance reserves, plus roughly $70/TACH hour wet (varies with price of fuel and includes engine and maintenance reserves.)

This is a great Tiger for pleasure flying, instrument training, and more, and the shares are a steal at what they are asking, especially when you consider the value of the reserve funds on hand.

If you're interested, contact me offline and I can send you pictures or answer any questions.
