Hi all
All is well here in South America. Getting another minor operation next week and hope this one will make things better for me.
I got a question regarding the fuel flapper door in the tank. Has anyone had a problem here. Sticking or not working well? I just made a major mod to my slosh tank because the engine kept burping when turning and kicking the rudder to force the fuel out board. Only one wing. The first fix was to unstick the door after some flocks got on it during assembly. This did not repair the problem. So inded up making a tube with a flapperdoor closer to the inboard rib. This worked and have 1 gallon unusable fuel in that tank. We never retested the other wing. Just added the mod but I really donīt like it. Cost to much.

Mine has all the "extras" so ir cost just under $400.00. Without them it is around $200.00. Since mine was the 1st, it took them longer to get the actual airframe made up. Surprised)

I would also like to know the cost. It is a very nice looking model!

Hi Rich,
I haven't had a problem with mine.
I hope the operation goes well!

Hi Rich,
Hope the operation goes or went well.
It does not sound like a fuel flapper door problem if the engine coughs right when you kick in some rudder. The is enough fuel in the lines to run the engine for a few minutes. Maybe a problem with the air intake? What kind of engine is it?
