Oh dear LIST
does anyone on this LIST know where I can find spare parts and technical data for a M462RF motor.
I need a tach generator, a cover for the rear shaft and probably a blade unless the MTV9 can be mounted on the shaft which I doubt.
Pictures of my motor can be found here : https://picasaweb.google.com/106676445988268949228/Moteur?authuser=0&feat=directlink
Any hints contact or technical data in order to put that motor back into operation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you LIST

Didier,Please contact me off list, I have several of these motors.
I think MTV9 requires a flanged crank shaft, the M462RF is a splinded shaft motor. The spline being slightly larger in dia than that used on the HS6A 285 hp engine.
Best,
Doug Sapp

Didier;
Further to Doug's post I believe the prop shaft on the MR462 engine is a Western standard SAE 20 spline.
I have not yet confirmed that observation. It is at this time just that - an observation.
If correct the only readily available Western propellor would be the Hamilton Standard 2B20.
However there should be Avia Propellor models in the Czech Republic designed for that engine.
Cheers;
Walt

I was speaking to Doug Sapp today and he was looking for a manual for th M462F engine. I remembered that I have one in English. I am going to make a copy for him. If anyone else wants one let me know and have Staples run off some more. It is about 85 pages and several are fold out 11 x 17 size with the diagrams, so it will be about $45 or so per copy.
I may have the manuals for the V520 propeller as well.
I know I have copies of all the service bulletins for the Z37, V520 and M462RF in Czech language as well.
There was a woman from China on the list offering parts for the CJ and Housai engines. I would like to contact her about making exhaust valves for the M14P.
