|

My 18T is now close to flying after a rather extensive refurb and I noticed today that the battery box is missing. Does anyone have pics and dimensions of the box or perhaps a suitable mod to use different batteries. Has anyone cut off the original connectors and soldered on new ones to suit the new battery type? And how are the batteries held in place?
Also does anyone know where I can buy the chrome storm window surrounds or even have them made, mine are really rusted.
Many thanks,
Regards Ant down under.

If the 18T uses the same battery box as a lot of other Russian stuff... which is to say the SAM-28 batteries... take a look at how Oddessy PC-925 batteries might fit in your box. We've used them in a variety of things and they fit perfectly... you just have to go to a welding shop and have the copper cable to put them in series made up out of some thick wire. Golf cart shops can make them, too.
