thanks to the slow market
I am still stuck with my CJ.

For some unknown reason I am getting
more and more sensitive to noise
(I really like gliders!!!) and
the Nanchang has that in abundance.

I've tried many headsets, helmets
and earplugs but my whole body
reacts to excessive sound pressure.

Now here comes my question:

Has anybody successfully brought
down the noise level inside a
YAK or CJ and how did you do
it?

Thank you in advance for your
input.

cheers

Elmar

I use Westones in my helmet and it's great! Can't fly without them. I only turn my radio volume up a 1/4 turn from off and all is great.

Did you try noise cancelling headsets or a helmet with noise cancelling?

Hi Elmar have you looked at the Wilga exhaust and mufflers they must be a lot quieter as I have two based nearby and see them but don't really hear them. VERY UGLY but quiet
