I am doing some re-wiring of my pulsar xp with a rotax 912.
Are you using only a master switch or a combination of a master switch and
a solenoid?
Is a solenoid necessary to handke the load of the accessories or is there a
switch that can handle the load?
The aerodesign schematic in the Engine Installation Manual shows only a mas
ter switch.
Thanks
Bill Clement

All depends on what the load is. On my airplane with the solidstate
equipment, the total current draw is very low. Somewhere around 6 amps with
everything on and operating, including the ignition. I am using a 20A
rocker(lit) with associate ckt bkr. I have used this setup before and have
had no problems. Cheers

Subject: Looking at buying a used kit
From: "jameswells3" <jameswells372(at)gmail.com>
I'm looking at buying a used kit in which the work hasn't been started. I was leaning
towards a Sonex or a Zenith 650 both of which are metal. How difficult
is the build process with fiberglass? Also, would it be feasible to use a VW engine?
Any other insight will be appreciated.
Thanks,
James

*Master Switch only in N912RV.
Get a 20 amp rocker or toggle switch.
